What we check, and why
An edible oil is only as trustworthy as the tests behind it. Here is exactly what happens to every batch.
Incoming seed
Moisture content and visible damage checked on arrival. Lots outside spec are rejected before they reach the press.
Aflatoxin
Every groundnut lot is screened. This is the single most important test for groundnut oil and we do not skip it.
Free fatty acid
Measured after pressing as an indicator of how fresh the seed was and how well the oil will keep.
Peroxide value
Checked before bottling to confirm the oil has not begun to oxidise.
Adulteration
Screened against cheaper oils. Cold-pressed oil commands a premium, which makes it a target.
Fill and seal
Bottles are checked for fill weight and seal integrity, then labelled with batch number and best-before.

Traceability
Every bottle carries a batch number and the date it was pressed. That number maps in our system to the pressing lot, the mill, the farms the seed came from, and the test results for that lot. If you ever want to know the history of a bottle in your kitchen, send us the number and we will tell you.
If something is wrong
Tell us within 48 hours with the batch number and a photograph and we will replace the bottle or refund you in full — no argument. We would rather absorb the cost than have you finish a bottle you are unsure about, and a complaint with a batch number attached is the most useful quality signal we get.
What our certifications cover
Our organic certification applies to the seed and the farms that grow it. Our FSSAI licence covers the manufacturing and packing facility. Neither is a health claim, and we will not present them as one.
